Work Schedule: Varied days and hours

Non-Exempt (hourly)

Differentials for nights ($5/hour) and weekends ($3/hour)

The Ultrasound Specialist performs diagnostic ultrasound exams for subsequent evaluation and treatment by attending physician. 

 

 

Qualifications

 

High School Diploma or GED

 

Two years radiology ultrasound specific college coursework, Associates Degree or Diploma Preferred. 

 

ARDMS certification within one year of hire.

 

Must hold and maintain current New Mexico State Licensure (DMS-NM) under the New Mexico Medical Imaging and Radiation Therapy Program. Provisional or temp license may be considered.

 

Current BLS required at the time of hire.
