Summary:
Under the direction of the Nursing Director, the Assistant Nurse Manager will work with the Department RN Manager in planning, implementing and coordinating the operational, financial and personnel activities of the PACU and Pre Op areas.
The Assistant Nurse Manager will oversee the daily operations of the recovery room and Pre Op, ensuring optimal patient care and efficient workflow. Supervise and support nursing staff, providing guidance and mentorship to enhance their professional development. Coordinate patient admissions and discharges, ensuring a smooth transition from the operating room to the recovery room. Monitor and evaluate patient care to maintain high standards of safety, quality, and compliance with hospital policies and procedures.
The Assistant Nurse Manager will provide clinical and operational leadership for the PACU and Pre OP which includes hands-on unit presence and direction in facilitating provision of patient care and achieving organizational outcomes.

Nursing Licensure: Current State of New Mexico or Compact State Nursing License required.
Education: ADN required, BSN preferred.
Certifications: Specialty Certification in area of practice and/or management preferred.
Experience: One year experience in clinical area. PACU/Pre OP experience preferred
