Other information:
Masters degree from an accredited college or university in audiology. Current NM Audiology/Dispensing License and current ASHA membership. Five to ten years post graduate experience in audiology and hearing aid dispensing

Responsibilities:
*Take patient history using information from the medical record, as well as thorough patient interview.
*Full range of diagnostic testing for all age groups.
*Perform diagnostic audiometric testing on clients including pediatric and infant testing (OAE)
*Management of district school hearing screening programs.
*Dispense, program, and adjust digital/programmable hearing aids.
*Evaluate and document test results in patient chart.
*Educates patients in the severity of hearing loss, hearing aids, and hearing conversation.
*Assist newborn hearing screening program.
*Aural rehabilitation services for adults and children.
