Overview

What you'll do

As a Care Manager in Inpatient Behavioral Health you will be a key member of the interdisciplinary healthcare team by providing clinical interventions to the patients we serve in a unique, supportive and fun enviroment.  Use your Social Worker/Therapist skills to include assessment, group threrapy, treatment and discharge planning for psychiatric patients. You will also be responsible for facilitating and coordinating appropriate and efficient use of hospital resources by utilization review activities including, but not limited to, prior authorization, concurrent review, retrospective review and/or quality assurance operation.  Does this sound like you or someone in your network? Qualifications

  • Masters degree in Counseling, Social Work or Psychology.
  • 3 years experience relevant to specific program needs and patient populations, prefer experience in psychiatric inpatient acute care setting.
  • Current license or registration by appropriate State of New Mexico licensing board must be obtained in 12 months from date of hire.
