Summary:
Under the supervision of a licensed RN, the graduate nurse is responsible for utilizing the nursing process to provide direct patient care to an assigned group of patients during a shift and periodizing the delivery of care using time and resources efficiently integrating an evidence and standards based framework model.

*Permit to practice at the specific PHS facility is completed and approved by the NMBON
*Permits to practice are valid until the NCLEX examination are disseminated but not to exceed the expiration date on the permit
*Under the direct supervision of a licensed RN who is physically in the same facility and/or on the same unit who can observe, direct, and evaluate the performance of the GN
BLS certification REQUIRED at time of hire.
