Now hiring a Supervisor Accounts Management for our Commercial Products & Sales!


As a Supervisor, you will be responsible for daily supervision of an assigned team of Account Managers in servicing and retaining Commercial groups including fully insured and self-funded business. Educates, trains and supports Account Managers to plan and implement group specific strategies while utilizing the Underwriting and Administrative guidelines established by the organization. Develops broker relationships and partners with the Department Director to provide front line leadership in the renewal of groups at risk and/or major accounts.

Ideal Candidate:

Three to six years experience in sales and or service position required, preferably in managed care/health plan. 

Qualifications

  • High school (G.E.D) required, Bachelors degree preferred.
  • New Mexico State Health and Life License required.
  • Three to six years experience in sales and or service position required, preferably in managed care.
  • Demonstrates the ability to lead and accomplish specific outcomes or goals through others

 

Responsibilities

  • Provides daily operational leadership to assigned Account Management team including coordinating activities and/or assignments, evaluating outcomes through marketing measurements and standards, and troubleshooting escalated problems.
  • Participates in the selection, hiring, training and evaluation of assigned team, enabling the most qualified individuals have the feedback, skills, tools and resources necessary to meet the organizational objectives for the Commercial Sales and Account Management unit.
  • Develops and maintains relationships with internal and external customers to ensure Commercial Sales & Account Management department is able to exceed organizational expectations.
  • Maintain a limited book of business.
  • Actively supports the Commercial Sales Team in prospecting and increasing market share, including enhanced product selection by current accounts.
  • Actively pursues a comprehensive understanding of the products offered by the organization along with continually developing industry knowledge to serve as a resource to Account Management Team, Brokers, and customer groups.
  • Through regular interactions with customer groups and team members, researches and assesses customer needs, offers solutions, and provide the feedback on products and services to the Commercial Leadership team enabling continuous evaluation and improvement of the services and products provided.
  • Assists Account Managers in service relationships that include, benefit renewals, member education, trouble shooting and ongoing service strategy specific to the employer group.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
