Summary:
Presbyterian is hiring a Cardiology Testing Tech for the Cardiology Clinic at Rust Rio Rancho. The cardio testing tech performs procedures with completed and documented competency, within scope of certification and PHS (Presbyterian Healthcare Services) policy and under the direct supervision of the provider. These procedures include performing treadmill exercise tolerance tests, stress echocardiograms, and 6-minute walk tests. Ensures patient safety through procedure protocols and policies. Start to cross train in nuclear medicine stress testing and learn to hone their skills and techniques to identify abnormalities in ECG tracings.
2 years cardiology experience / medical experience
Must pass CCT within 1 year of hire date
Knowledge of complex cardiac rhythms and arrhythmias preferred
Current BLS certification, must be obtained in 90 days if not current
Pass Basic Arrhythmia Challenge Test within 9 months of hire date
Education:
High school diploma or GED required.
Preferred Qualifications:
Completion of Medical Assistant program from an accredited institution.
