Summary:
Kaseman Hospital is seeking a Register Nurse to support our Oncology Department. The RN is responsible for utilizing the nursing process to provide direct patient care for patients who have cancer and for those undergoing treatment. Deliver chemo/bio products and education to cancer patient population. Responsible for prioritizing the delivery of direct nursing care using time and resources efficiently integrating a standards-based framework model.
Credentials:
Must maintain chemotherapy/biotherapy/immunotherapy provider certification during employment in Oncology department.
*Chemotherapy/Biotherapy/Immunotherapy provider certification required within 1 month of hire
*National Oncology Certification required to be obtained within 2-3 years of hire.
*Maintain educational requirements as per standards related to national oncology accreditations upheld by Cancer Care Services.
Education: Associate Degree in Nursing
Preferance:
Oncology experience or at least a year of critical care
