Summary:
*Actively participates in and successfully completes Presbyterians Critical Care Department Nurse Resident program by successfully achieving the program s professional, educational and clinical requirements within the time frame specified.
*Transitions to professional nursing practice in the PHS Critical Care Department by utilizing the nursing process to ensure safe, timely, effective, efficient, equitable, patient-centered care and by consistently practicing professional, civil behaviors with colleagues and the interprofessional team.

Other information:
Licensure: State of New Mexico or Compact State Nursing License required.
Academic Preparation:
*Minimum ADN preparation
Experience: Minimum New graduate or less than one year experience in a non-acute care setting; one year inpatient experience preferred
Professional Requirements/Emergency Response: Maintains current training in following:
*BLS (AHA or ASHI Healthcare Provider) required for all within 90 days of hire
Credentials: Registered Nurse - State of New Mexico or Compact State Nursing License required.
BLS certification required at time of hire.
Education: Associate Degree in Nursing
