Now hiring a full time Patient Visit Specialist!
The Patient Visit Specialist plays a crucial role in patient care, performing visit closure activities such as scheduling and working work queues. This position acts as a telephone liaison between providers and patients, ensuring the smooth coordination of patient care and providing an exceptional patient experience. The individual will process daily referral work queues, demonstrating their commitment to patient well-being. The candidate would be interested in learning the requirements of hospice scheduling, further enhancing their role in patient care. The work of this position is intended for the successful completion of the following steps ordered by the clinician, making the individual an integral part of the healthcare process. This individual would be set up for success with great time management and organization skills, knowing that their work directly impacts patient care. The chosen individual would have advanced scheduling (Return scheduling knowledge, which includes the ability to scrub schedules for accuracy and efficiency in the home department).
This position typically works Monday through Friday, with rare occasions for overtime. The position offers the flexibility of remote work, with the possibility of working from Presbyterian El Camino based on Wi-Fi connectivity and/or low productivity.
Medical Assistant candidates will be integral in sharing the responsibilities of prior authorizations, contributing to the smooth operation of patient care.
