Summary:
Presbyterian is hiring a Certified Orthopedic Tech at the Orthopedic Clinic at Rust. The Ortho Tech provides patient flow, rooming, assisting patients and assisting physicians. Specific skills needed include cast application and removal, setting up and removal of traction, suture removal, pin extraction, adjustment of braces and external fixation devices, measuring and application of brace devices
High school plus specialized, short-term training in clinical medical skills.
Registered Orthopedic Technologist (ROT) issued by the ASOP required.
One to three years experience in ambulatory care
BLS required at time of hire.
