Summary:
As a Patient Care Assistant, you will transport patients between clinical and non-clinical departments and nursing units. Transport patients needing admission, surgical and procedural services, inter-unit department transfers, or discharge from facility. Provide observation and companionship to appropriate hospitalized patient. Assist and provide basic ADLs as appropriate and directed. Provide general support for the operation of a nursing department including assuring availability of supplies and equipment as pertaining to transport.

Other information:
*HS/GED
*Less than 1 year experience in hospital setting and patient transport.
*Receives on-the-job training and competency verification to perform primary functions.

BLS Certification required at time of hire.
