Presbyterian is seeking a skilled Progressive Care Nurse (RN) to provide direct patient care to an assigned group of acute care patients in a fast-paced and collaborative environment.
As a Registered Nurse in the Progressive Care Unit (PCU), you will play a crucial role in the care and recovery of patients who are transitioning from intensive care but still require close monitoring and specialized care. You will work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment where your clinical expertise and compassionate care will make a significant impact on patients' lives.

• Associate Degree in Nursing
• State of New Mexico or Compact State Nursing License
• BLS certification REQUIRED at time of hire
Provide direct patient care to a diverse patient population in the Progressive Care Unit.
Monitor and assess patients' vital signs, condition, and responses to treatment.
Administer medications, treatments, and interventions as prescribed by healthcare providers.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
Educate patients and their families about their conditions, treatments, and post-discharge care.
Document patient care activities accurately and thoroughly in electronic health records (EHR).
Maintain a safe and therapeutic environment for patients and staff.
Participate in quality improvement initiatives and adhere to established clinical protocols and standards.
