The Cook is responsible for preparing food items for all areas of the department. Prepare food for cold prep, Grab and Go, and bulk production. Prep food items as needed for menu cycles.

*Prepares various foods for all meals.
*Measures and mixes ingredients according to recipe.
*Ensures that all foods prepared meet existing standards of quality, freshness, taste, and appearance.
*Alerts supervisor to problems and needs concerning equipment and food supplies.
*Uses a variety of kitchen utensils and equipment including slicers, blenders, and mixers.
*Ensures that required sanitary levels are maintained throughout the food preparation process.
*Maintains a clean and safe work area.
*Calculates amount of food to be cooked.
*Supervises Department in absence of Food Service Coordinator.
