Summary:
* Schedules, assigns and supervises the work of the clerical PMG staff. Acts as a resource person to other supervisors in the department

Qualifications

Other information:
* High school (G.E.D.). Minimum of three to five years experience in a supervisory position preferably in health related environment.

employer groups, brokers, physicians, and physician office staff using strong dialogue and customer
service competencies.

* SKILL-Able to work under limited supervision, self manage work time and projects, resolve issues

Responsibilities

Responsibilities:
* Interviews and hires clerical Staff Support.

* Prepares work schedules, assigns personnel, evaluates work performance and initiates/makes recommendations for personnel actions.

* Maintains established departmental policies and procedures, objectives, quality assurance program, safety, environmental and infection control
standards. Adheres to JCAHO guidelines.

* Supervises ordering of supplies as needed and follows financial guidelines for maintaining optimal budgetary compliance.

* Accountable for daily business processes and PBO communication. Responsible for data gathering for operational analysis of site. Oversees
compliance with policies and regulatory requirements. Coordinates Quality Improvement initiatives.

* Oversees daily activities of the clerical staff to optimize productivity and census manages when appropriate.

* Performs the duties of the Administrative Staff Support as needed.

* Participates in the planning processes and formatting budget preparation and ongoing monitoring as part of the team. Participate in personal and
team development of clerical employees.

* Acts as on site resource for project teams and collaborates with other members of leadership team.

* Assists front line operational function as needed.

* Attends meetings as required and participates on committees as needed.

* Functions as liaison between physicians and clerical support staff.

* Enhances professional growth and development through participation in education programs, current literature, in service meetings and workshops.
