The Nursing Tech performs advanced patient care procedures (such as, initiation of intravenous therapy, splinting/casting, suturing, and simple patient teaching) under the director of a licensed Nurse or Provider and/or performs advanced support-procedures for the operation of the Emergency Department. Coordinates equipment and/or supply systems. Performs sterile processing procedures.
