Presbyterian Healthcare is hiring a Oracle PL/SQL Developer to formulates and defines system scope and objectives through research and fact-finding to develop or modify moderately complex information systems. Prepares detailed specifications from which programs will be written. Analyzes and revises existing system logic difficulties and documentation as necessary. Competent to work on most phases of applications systems analysis activities, but requires instruction and guidance in other phases.
Preferred Qualifications:
Extensive experience in application development and support, including coding, testing, and troubleshooting stored procedures, packages, triggers, and complex queries across multi-environment technologies.
Advanced proficiency in Oracle SQL and PL/SQL, with strong capabilities in developing packages, views, and triggers for programming, reporting, and operational support.
Hands-on experience with ETL processes and Operational Data Stores (ODS), enabling efficient data integration and transformation for enterprise-level reporting and analytics.
Knowledge of healthcare EDI standards and transaction sets such as 834, 835, and 820, with experience in claims processing systems like Facets or HealthRules Payer considered a strong asset.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a demonstrated ability to deliver innovative, customer-focused solutions while managing multiple projects simultaneously.
Technical leadership and collaboration skills, including mentoring, project implementation, and cross-functional communication, with Java development experience preferred.
