Presbyterian Healthcare Services (PHS) is seeking a highly motivated Staff Attorney to join our legal team and provide in-house counsel to PHS and its affiliates. This role involves supporting a variety of legal matters, including litigation, regulatory compliance, and daily operational issues across our integrated healthcare system.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist with litigated and regulatory matters and support management decision-making
Prepare, review, and negotiate legal documents and agreements
Review and respond to third-party and government subpoenas
Advise on medical staff and peer review issues
Provide real-time legal support to direct care teams
Develop and review policies and procedures related to patient care, regulatory compliance, and workforce matters
Ideal Candidate:
Strong interest in healthcare law and regulations
Excellent communication, negotiation, and advisory skills
Able to work in a fast-paced, collaborative healthcare environment
