Presbyterian is seeking a Scheduling Customer Service Rep. Schedulers are responsible for providing customer service for patients needing appointments, referrals, messaging assistance, and maintaining patient demographics.

This position is eligible for the Northern New Mexico differential of $4.00 per hour. (This differential may be adjusted or discontinued based on business requirements.)
Provide customer service related to patient triage, appointment scheduling, referrals, messaging, and demographic maintenance
Respond to incoming calls using skill-based routing to meet quality and performance standards
Be punctual and maintain consistent call handling throughout shift to resolve contacts on initial encounter
Conduct outbound calls as needed, meeting quality and quantity guidelines for organizational initiatives
Build and maintain positive relationships with customers, patients, practitioners, employer groups, and brokers
Advocate for members/patients and ensure quality service through timely and accurate responses
Contribute to process documentation and improvement efforts using the Improvement model
Identify patterns in inquiries and grievances, perform root cause analysis, and report findings to management
Research inquiries and special projects, providing benefit interpretation and resolution within required timelines
Use tools such as D.A.R.T., Provider Manual, Pres Online, and Policies and Procedures for accurate information
Respond to inquiries using Microsoft Word, Excel, or similar databases when appropriate
Actively participate in team efforts and process improvement initiatives
Record all interactions including calls, emails, faxes, and walk-ins in appropriate databases
Assist in coordinating meetings for training, contracting, and reporting with customers or partners
Manage the encounter process including scheduling, registration, co-pay collection, financial arrangements, charge posting, and reconciliation of collected funds
