Overview

Presbyterian is seeking a Program Manager for Mental & Emotional Health will serve as a subject matter expert in mental and emotional well-being. This role is responsible for developing, delivering, and evaluating trainings, workshops, and programs that promote resilience, psychological health & safety, and overall mental and emotional health for individuals and groups in various workplace settings. The Program Manager will align program development with organizational strategic planning goals and partner with internal teams and external stakeholders to create impactful initiatives that meet diverse needs, foster engagement, and support long-term well-being outcomes.

Ideal Candidate:

Minimum 5 years of post-graduate experience developing and leading programs in mental health, employee well-being, or learning and development.

Qualifications

  • Masters degree in psychology, counseling, social work, or related field from an accredited program (resulting in being licensed or license-eligible).
  • Minimum 5 years of post-graduate experience developing and leading programs in mental health, employee well-being, or learning and development.
  • Proven experience facilitating workshops and trainings with diverse groups.
  • Strong understanding of evidence-based practices in mental and emotional health.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and facilitation skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and stakeholders simultaneously.
  • Experience working in healthcare, corporate well-being, or for-profit settings.
    Preferred Qualifications
  • Doctorate in psychology, counseling, social work, or related field preferred.
  • Certifications in supplemental mental health related training (e.g., Mental Health First Aid, mindfulness-based stress reduction, etc.).
  • Demonstrated ability to apply trauma-informed and culturally responsive approaches.

Responsibilities

Subject Matter Expertise

  • Serve as an in-house expert on mental and emotional health, staying current on best practices, emerging research, and evidence-based approaches.
  • Provide guidance and consultation to leadership, staff, and stakeholders on mental health related workplace strategies and initiatives.
    Program & Workshop Development
  • Design, implement, and evaluate programs that enhance individual and group mental and emotional well-being.
  • Create curricula, resources, and toolkits tailored to diverse audiences and organizational needs.
  • Leverage data and feedback to continuously improve offerings and measure impact.
    Training & Facilitation
  • Lead engaging and interactive trainings, workshops, and educational sessions for leaders and teams on topics such as growth-mindset, workplace stress & trauma management, psychological health & safety, and emotional intelligence.
  • Build capacity across teams by equipping leaders and employees with skills to support their own and others mental and emotional health.
    Please note that this position does not provide clinical counseling or therapy to clients.
    Collaboration & Integration
  • Partner with HR, Talent Development, and leadership teams to integrate mental health programs and competencies into broader organizational culture and initiatives.
  • Cultivate strong relationships with internal and external partners, experts, and vendors to expand program offerings, resources, and revenue.
  • Refer individuals to relevant employee assistance and well-being programs when appropriate.
