Our Clinical Education team is currently hiring a Nursing Clinical Similuation Specialist to join their team.
The Simulation Specialist serves as educator, consultant, researcher, instructional and evaluation designer, clinical practice expert, and interprofessional collaborator supporting the clinical simulation needs of staff throughout the PHS enterprise. Supports the educational simulation components of the organization's clinical initiatives and practices
The RN Clinical Simulation Specialist is responsible for designing, implementing, and evaluating clinical simulation experiences that support nursing education and professional development. This role ensures high-quality, evidence-based simulation activities that enhance clinical competency, critical thinking, and patient safety across the organization.

Summary:

Licensure: State of New Mexico or Compact State Nursing required.
Education: Bachelors Degree in Nursing required
Masters Degree either in progress or started within 2 years of hire and completed within 5 years. Focus of masters degree in Nursing, Nursing Education, Education, Instructional Design, Business, Leadership, Informatics, Administration or equivalent degree required
Certification from Society of Simulation in Healthcare within 2 years from hire
